Bonnie Schneider works as a journalist for CNN. In March 2012, she will be the expert on TV, executive producer and host of the DIY NETWORK special, titled THE LAST HOUSE RESISTING. Bonnie's first published book is EXTREME WATER, Palgrave Macmillan. It was released on January 31, 2012 by Palgrave Macmillan. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. When she was in Boston, she also provided reports on lifestyle and entertainment as an assignment reporter for every day of the week. She worked for WFOR-TV as a meteorologist on weekends before joining WB56. She was employed in a variety of reports and meteorology roles within News 12 Long Island - a 24-hour news cable network as well as WXII-TV, the NBC affiliate station in Winston-Salem. Her other job was as a fill-in on occasion for The Saturday Early Show in New York City for CBS.
