In the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, the athlete was a global sensation when she scored the first perfect ten in asymmetric bars. And in the year 1976, Nadia Comaneci would go on to earn six additional perfect 10s and became the youngest Olympic gold medalist. The accomplishment of Nadia Comaneci was not only to get international attention, but she also placed Romania on the map.
